“Hit-Boy’s work has defined a generation of music, blending innovation with impact in a way few others have,” Clarke said when announcing the news. “We’re honored to partner with him and proud to help preserve, celebrate, and continue his extraordinary legacy.”

Hit-Boy said the partnership represents a new chapter in his career focused on ownership, innovation, and creative freedom.

“HarbourView will be a forward-thinking partner and that is exactly what I want when making decisions about my catalog and my future,” the three-time Grammy winner said.

According to Billboard, Hit-Boy’s catalog spans nearly two decades and includes collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, and Doechii, among others. Some of his most notable works include Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N***as in Paris,” Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” featuring Drake, Beyoncé’s “Flawless,” and the late Nipsey Hussle’s “Racks in the Middle.”

Hit-Boy also executive produced Nas’ Grammy-winning “King’s Disease” and the “Magic” trilogy, according to Billboard. The outlet notes that his other Grammy wins include Best Rap Song for “N***as in Paris” and Best Rap Performance for his feature alongside Roddy Ricch on “Racks in the Middle.”

Hit-Boy’s most recent album as an individual artist is “Goldfish,” a collaboration with producer The Alchemist. The project includes a short film directed by Abteen Bagheri and executive produced by Hit-Boy. He also stars in the film alongside The Alchemist. Other appearances include Danny Trejo, Rory Culkin, Big Hit, Conway the Machine, and Lefty Gunplay.

HarbourView Equity Partners’ music portfolio, in addition to Hit-Boy, includes T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa, and Nelly, as previously reported by AFROTECH™. The firm manages a diverse catalog of assets and has raised capital to expand its music holdings.
